Service Description
Students will receive 1-12 hours per week throughout a 9 week quarter, 16 week semester, or short-term summer session to include tutoring sessions offered in the Premium Online Tutoring Package, help prepare for quizzes and exams, optimize class picking/planning/scheduling for STEM Majors, time management to reduce stress and improve performance, coaching to improve desired skills, help find research opportunities, help pick the correct Universities for Undergraduate/Graduate programs, general mentorship, and other tailored services as-needed. Here is the full list of topics mentees can receive advice on: General career/industry/major advice Grad school application process Financing your education Interview advice/practice Time management/study skills Transferring to colleges/universities Mentorship program is aimed to: Improve self-confidence, sense of self-worth, communication skills, understanding of accountability and social responsibility Offers challenges to set higher goals, take risks and achieve at higher levels Advice on balancing the range of academic and professional responsibilities Identification of skill gaps before leaving high school and/or college To Book Discounted Rates, see Plans & Pricing / Memberships.
Lesson cancellation: 1 hour notice required
We understand that life can be unpredictable and unexpected events may arise that prevent you from attending a scheduled tutoring session. However, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible when canceling or rescheduling a session. To respect the time of other students, we require at least 1 hour notice (time limit may increase) for cancellations or rescheduling to receive a refund. If a session is canceled or rescheduled within 1 hour of the scheduled time, the student will be charged for the missed session. We understand that some students may need to reschedule at the last minute due to extenuating circumstances. In these cases, we will work with the student to reschedule the session at a later date, but the student may still be charged for the missed session. We ask the students and/or parents should provide at least 1 hour notice (time limit may increase) when canceling or rescheduling a package of sessions after the free trial. If a package of sessions is canceled or rescheduled within 1 hour of the scheduled time, then student will be charged for the missed session and may incur further penalties but not limiting to: receive partial refund for remaining unused sessions or forfeit the remainder of sessions in the package. We allow flexibility in scheduling sessions, if a student wants to reschedule a session for a different time or day, we will do our best to accommodate their request. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions if the tutor is unable to attend due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, the student will not be charged for the missed session. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following this cancellation policy. It allows us to better serve all of our students and ensure that their time is respected and valued.
